At Ohio Canal Corridor, our work plan is divided into three categories: Projects, Programs and Events.

PROJECTS:
The job of “building a new kind of park – the Ohio & Erie Canalway” involves a variety of planning efforts that become projects. This unique greenway builds off of three primary multi-modal transportation options: Towpath Trail with its connector trails, our nationally-designated Scenic Byway, and the evolving Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Ohio Canal Corridor plays the role of facilitator or partner-building in many of the plans and projects. It is true to say that all projects ultimately involve a cast of partnership organizations, businesses and agencies in their fulfillment. Equally true, is that public involvement and input is regularly sought in the development of plans.

PROGRAMS:
Ohio Canal Corridor has developed a series of annual programs to engage the community in programs that tie into eventual project goals. The programs are designed to acquaint people with various aspects of the work program through on-the-ground personal experiences.

EVENTS:
Our events are a cross between recreational/health offerings and our need to raise funds for the ongoing operations of the organization.
