HISTORY HIKES
Ohio
Canal Corridor offers free walking tours on Saturday mornings from June
through September.
This
is your chance to study and explore the landmarks, architecture and
history of the distinct neighborhoods along the Ohio Canal. From the
metropolitan feel of Gateway to the cultural diversity of Tremont, each
neighborhood has its own unique story to tell. Find out how these areas
evolved and the significant contributions that were made to promote
the growth and development of our All-American City.
The History
Hikes are led by local Cleveland historians, architects and community
planning experts. Hikes begin at 9:00 AM and last approximately two
hours, unless otherwise noted.

in Spring of 2008 for our schedule.
