TOWPATH TRAIL DEDICATED THROUGH STEELYARD COMMONS

Cleveland Councilman Joe Cimperman, Mayor Frank Jackson, and Senator George Voinovich gathered at Steelyard Commons to officially dedicate the one mile section of Towpath Trail recently constructed by Steelyard Developer Mitchell Schneider on Tuesday morning September 4th. Ohio Canal Corridor Director Tim Donovan acted as Master-of-Ceremonies for the ceremony which attracted more than 100 people. The elected officials shared comments of praise on Mitchell Schneider for his new retail project, but more importantly for his contribution to a new community asset – the Towpath Trail. Estimates on the value of that contribution approach $1 million.
